Singapore’s (beautiful) Changi airport is the only airport I have been to where the signs say “Arrival” and “Departure”; instead of the more usual “Arrivals” and “Departures”.
I would have thought it is more common to use the plural form when naming categories. Such as “Books”, “Magazines” and “Newspaper” in a bookshop. (Then again, I have seen “Stationeries” on signs in Singapore too. Maybe it’s a secret game.)
Anyway, a big airport with a single arrival and departure. Perhaps daily? Oddly amusing while waiting waiting waiting…
