Alignment is one of the universal problems of the human condition.

It is critical for organisations working to strong visions and causes; but less so for conventional hierarchical and factory-cog-mentality organisations.

Similarly, it is critical for successful life/long term personal partnerships; but less so for acquaintances.

Solving the alignment problem, or even learning to work around and live with it effectively, is needed to improve relationships and boost innovation within organisations.

How can we do this better? Especially when we can have seemingly irreconcilable differences over the simplest of matters?
