There are essentially two broad follow-up steps you need to take after the brainstorming session.

Document and summarise all the ideas generated on the day. If you group them into categories, this will help kick-start the analysis and evaluation phase.

Organise an Evaluation session so you can start to filter the mass of generated ideas into increasingly practicable possibilities. You may need to conduct more focused brainstorming sessions to build on and expand each of the final candidates.
