The Google Material Design time picker is a beautiful piece of work.

You tap on the hour or minute component of the time to initiate setting the hour or minutes.

The concentric display of 12-hr and 24-hr clocks is elegant and visually compelling. Especially if you sometimes struggle to remember what 9pm is in the 24-hr clock. Why haven’t we done it this way before?!

Setting out the numbers in the familiar clock face positions is also a boon for those of us who remember things by visual position.

Not all circular menus work as well. Because other than clock faces, we don’t have many other lists of things that are circular. Scanning a circular list is harder than a vertical one. I’m look at you Microsoft OneNote:
