Conventional business problem solving behaviour tend to be extremely short term. Next financial year. Next quarter. Next fortnight. Where the most critical issues are ignored in favour of the noisiest issue.
It can also be very personal-interest-centred: my golden parachute versus the future wellbeing of the company or the employees; not to mention foreign labour in far distant shores.
Will we re-think these concepts? Is there sufficient political will to do this?
