Unnamed: Pitching from the heart
I worked with a 20-person business in the finance sector (debt recovery) to successfully pitch for a large contract.
The business has a unique and strong value proposition. Their challenge was to get out of the corporate-speak mindset and present their value proposition in an emotive and compelling manner.
We started with identifying the core emotive proposition of the company’s offerings. I knew we had hit the spot when the director cried as she described how much she cared for her clients – we had our critical underlying message.
I spent time with them getting to the core of their offering, and identifying strong and very real success stories. I also helped the team prepare their scripts to ensure that they say what they needed to say in their own voices. I worked with them to create a set of simple and effective slides to accompany the presentation.
