Many of us would have seen this “Game Changers” ad for the Australian government’s Department of Finance by now. It still surprises me that in spite of our intense exposure to slickly-produced media, none of the decision makers noticed the awkwardness of this production.
I think this speaks to how good we are at deluding ourselves. If we are not vigilant of our biases/desires, they can interfere with our ability to see things for what they are (instead of what we want them to be.)
