I live primarily in Chrome now, even more so since I moved away from using Outlook mail and calendar.
So why do I have the Opera browser installed on my phone still? Because when I double-tap on a web page, I get a zoomed-in legible view with the text automatically re-flowed to fit the screen. This is sometimes called Dynamic Text Reflow when zooming.
On Chrome, this is not usually the case. Web pages like the example here are just unusable in Chrome. When I zoom in to read the text, it flows off the side of the screen.
So why is this so hard to implement? I have tried various Chrome extensions to no avail. None of them worked as consistently as Opera does.
Oddly enough, Opera on Windows does not dynamically reflow text! Or at least I haven't been able to work out how to enable it.
