Solving non-problems is the act of doing something because we can; without truly contemplating our intentions and the potential outcomes.

I fail to see how this has got anything to do with “recycling.” Granted it is a whimsical and a fun idea. I do actually like it. And I am disturbed by it.

Does the world really need something like this? Because now we have two items to manufacture, store, ship, and then throw away “recycle.”

Just what is the problem this piece of design is trying to solve? To provide idle, fleeting entertainment when making tea! Calling it recycling is not being clear. It is making up as problem to solve.

The brief could have been expressed more authentically as "design something whimsical, artistic, contemplative and disposable to engage in while making and having tea"

Bonus teabag art.
