We invest a lot of time, energy and other resources in what we don't have. Just like how we focus on fixing our weaknesses, instead of magnifying our strengths.

Have you noticed how quickly we can list our lacks and weaknesses? We entertain this fantasy that we will be fulfilled when we have what we lack, and we will be successful when we have corrected our weaknesses.

The reality seems to be that we just need to keep moving forwards and onwards. And not wait for all our ducks to line up.

Is that sobering or enervating?
