This is my response to an overheard piece of advice (person A was vehemently trying to convince person B to spend loads of time and effort on fixing their weaknesses):

No. I don’t want to improve my weaknesses. It is never pleasant nor particularly effective. It saps passion and is demoralising. Life is too short!

I want to work towards maximising the returns from my strengths. That is a far more optimal use of my time. And it is definitely more fun and rewarding.

The exact same thing applies to business. Outsource the crappy stuff. Focus on doing the good stuff.
