"A Starry Night spans a total of 50 episodes, each lasting two-and-a half minutes. Airing once every hour, and 18 times a day on the East-West and North-South lines' platforms, A Starry Night is the first drama series to find its debut in local MRT stations."

This is an interesting concept put together by the Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) and other local and Chinese production companies.

If people are short of time, give them their dose of drama in suitably small chunks. I am curious to see how this will be received. This could well signal the start of similarly formatted material delivered to mobile phones for instance. (And yes, part of me is shuddering at the thought of even more inescapable interminable soapies - already the case on buses throughout Singapore...)
