The rise of the small

http://jonbischke.com/2009/03/10/the-edge/

”Instead of a small number of large businesses there should be a large number of small businesses.” Or perhaps more accurately – the time has come for the majority of smaller businesses to be acknowledged for their contributions to the global economy.

Mega big businesses get a lot of focus because we have been worshipping big (esp big dollars). The current economic crunch is also a clear demonstration of their ability to influence the world. A few bad apples, when they are ginormous apples, can indeed f*ck up the world quick smart.

It is good to see real and powerful internet tools that support the entrepreneurs in the rest of us.
