A vision of the world to come?

Some of you would have seen pictures of this property development project off the coast of Dubai.

Stumbling across it again recently, I realised it could well represent the world to come given global warming.

See a large image of what I am talking about.

Note how all the continents have been reduced to small islands. And the North Pole is nowhere to be seen! Is the property developer showing unusual foresight of the future?

Oh wait… they built islands in the sea, and celebrities are buying them… I shall go have a lie down now.

    Hey Zern,

    going to a little bit of Godinesque edgecrafting - we can use these islands to measure global warming in quantifiable terms (so many “USD per centimetre”).

    Global warming is no joke - these islands are, sort of - applying one to the other has a strange attraction.
