There is nothing new

Thanks Greg for sharing this: “Greeks and Romans did their rough drafts on wax tablets (which were wooden, with wax panels inserted) – these could be smoothed over and rewritten, which parchment and paper could not. Tablets were often bound into two, hinged with leather. A stylus was used to write, and the back of the stylus used to smooth the wax.”
